In the Comandancia building, in Ibiza, has the opening of the exhibition "The geology of les Pitiüses”Whose organization comes from the hand of the Department of Education, Culture and Heritage of the Consell Insular de Ibiza.
In this exhibition You can see fossils, rocks, photographs, books and explanatory panels that will give the viewer a vision of all the geological periods that have been happening in Ibiza and Formentera.
This event has been organized thanks to the donation of the French geologist Yves Rangheard to the Island Council in 2011, and although in that same year another exhibition took place, now we want to remember the studies that for years were carried out in the Pitiüses.
The exhibition will be permanent and can be visited from Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. except for the month of August, Christmas holidays and Easter.
